Monthly Educational Programs for Members and Guests
  • ​Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month unless otherwise noted, January through October. Various locations.
  • Most meetings begin at 10 AM. in 2025, there will be two evening meetings.  Program is first, followed by brief refreshments then a short business meeting.
  • Those interested in membership are asked to attend two meetings prior to joining.

  • January 22, 2025 at 10 AM - CANCELLED DUE TO FRIGID TEMPERATURE.  RESCHEDULED FOR 2/26. Witch Hazel Trees presented by Ron Schilb.  Ron is curator of the Witch Hazel collection at Wegerzyn Gardens.  
  • February 26, 2025 at 10 AM - Program on Witch Hazel Trees.  Rescheduled from 1/23.  See above information.  Also, we will have a member carry In luncheon that follows the program.        Location: Sugarcreek Township Building, 2090 Ferry Rd, Sugarcreek Township
  • March 26, 2025 at 6:30 PM- Pollinator Pathway Initiative presented by Warren County Water and Conservation District.                        Location:  St. Pierre Education Center at 3757 Upper Bellbrook Road, Bellbrook, 45305
  • April 23, 2025 at 10 AM - Nature Preserve tour at MEEC - Marianist Environmental Education Center at Mount St John.  Location: 4435 E. Patterson Road, Dayton Ohio 45430
  • May 28, 2025 at 10 AM- Members planting flowers at library, museum and sidewalk urns/pots.
  • ​June 25, 2025- Tour of Onederings Lavender Farm.  Location: 2195 S Clarksville Rd, Clarksville Ohio 45113
  • July 23, 2025 at 6:30 PM- Touring Bellbrook Gardens Location: We will meet at 6:20 PM in the parking lot of the St. Pierre Education Center,  3757 Upper Bellbrook Road.  (School administration offices between the High School and Eagleland2 Playground).   Park at the north end of the parking lot close to the High School.  We will then walk to our first garden at the High School. 
  • August 27, 2025 at 10 AM – Tour of Three Trees Farm in Bellbrook--a family-owned market farm. Location:   3234 Lower Bellbrook Rd. Spring Valley, OH 45370
  • September 24, 2025 at 10 AM- Jackie Mayer, Executive Director of Beavercreek Wetlands, will speak on land and wetlands preservation and development,  plus club officer installation.   Location:  Sugarcreek Township Building, 2090 Ferry Rd, Sugarcreek Twp, Bellbrook 45305
  • October 22, 2025 at 10 AM- Member Social and Luncheon.  Location:   Bellbrook Sugarcreek Parks District Building, 2751 Washington Mill Rd, Bellbrook, OH 45305-9757
