Projects & Activities

Bellbrook Civic Planting :

· Design and maintain the Dunham Garden at Bellbrook’s Winters Library

· Design and maintain  The Celebration Gardens at the Bellbrook Historical Museum:  The Wright Iris Garden and the Butler-Klyce Garden

· Design and plant containers in downtown Bellbrook

Annual Plant Sale (May 19, 2012)    at 51 S. East Street, Bellbrook Proceeds support community projects including:

· Scholarships to BHS graduating seniors pursuing specified majors in college

· Fee assistance for Camp Kern Program at Bellbrook Middle School

· Donations to  Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District for children's programs and tree plantings

· Donations to Cox Arboretum

· Master Gardener scholarship

Construction and design of the Children’s Garden in the atrium of Stephen Bell Elementary School, Bellbrook

Demonstration and Information Booth at the Bellbrook Sugar Maple Festival in Bellbrock Park  (April)

Hands-On Project booth at “Think Greene” @ Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District (March)

· Support of educational projects of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek schools @ Stephen Bell Elementary

· Participate in Greene County Garden Club’s Flower Show at Knollwood Garden Center (November) & Redbud Garden Club’s Flower Show at Trinity Community of Beavercreek  (April)

· Sponsor Earth Day Art Contest in Bellbrook Middle School (March) - winning posters displayed at Sugar Maple Festival booth

· Wright Irises donated to the Heritage Garden at the Governor’s Residence in Columbus, OH & Carillion Park, Dayton
